Gwadar University has especially included Beach Games as part of its Annual Sports Week, a first-of-its-kind initiative in any educational institution in Pakistan: Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir

Gwadar: The second Annual Sports Week 2025, including Beach Games, organized by Gwadar University and PCT&VI, concluded with a grand ceremony at the university’s seminar hall. The event highlighted the outstanding performances of students in various sports activities and awards were distributed.

The closing ceremony was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, while the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Director of PCT & VI, Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Controller of Examinations Rahim Bakhsh Mehr, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Jan Mohammad, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr. Mohib Ullah, Sports Director Sagheer Naseem, Director Financial Aid Ubaid Ali, Heads of various departments, directors, faculty members, and students were also present.
Addressing the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir praised the efforts of students, faculty, and organizers, saying: “Considering the beautiful coastal beach of Gwadar, we have specially included Beach Games in our Annual Sports Week. This is a pioneering initiative in any educational institution in Pakistan, offering students of the University of Gwadar and students from other universities in the province a unique opportunity to play on the beach.

Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities and appreciated the performance of the participants.
In his welcome speech, the Sports Director thanked the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Public Relations Officer, faculty, administration, and students for their active participation and cooperation. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards, shields, cups, and certificates.

گوادر یونیورسٹی اور پی سی ٹی وی آئی کے زیر اہتمام دوسرے سالانہ اسپورٹس ویک 2025 بشمول بیچ گیمز کی شاندار اختتامی تقریب یونیورسٹی کے سیمینار ہال میں منعقد ہوئی ، جس میں مختلف کھیلوں میں طلباء کی نمایاں کارکردگی کو سراہا گیا اور انعامات تقسیم کیے گئے ۔
اختتامی تقریب کی صدارت یونیورسٹی کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرزاق صابر نے کی، جبکہ پرو وائس چانسلر اور ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر پی سی ٹی اینڈ وی آئی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید منظور احمد، کنٹرولر امتحانات رحیم بخش مہر، ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جان محمد، ڈین فیکلٹی آف سائنس اینڈ انجینئرنگ ڈاکٹر محب اللہ، اسپورٹس ڈائریکٹر صغیر نسیم، ڈائریکٹر فنانشل ایڈ عبید علی، مختلف شعبوں کے سربراہان، فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء بھی موجود تھے۔
اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرزاق صابر نے طلباء، فیکلٹی اور منتظمین کی کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا: “گوادر کی خوبصورت ساحلی پٹی کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے، ہم نے خصوصی طور پر بیچ گیمز کو سالانہ اسپورٹس ویک کا حصہ بنایا ہوا ہے۔ یہ پاکستان کی کسی بھی تعلیمی ادارے میں اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا اقدام ہے، جو ہمارے طلباء کے ساتھ ساتھ دوسری یونیورسٹیوں کے طلبا کو ساحل سمندر پر کھیلنے کا منفرد موقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔”
پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید منظور احمد نے غیر نصابی سرگرمیوں کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے شرکاء کے کارکردگی کی تعریف کی۔
اسپورٹس ڈائریکٹر نے اپنے خیر مقدمی خطاب میں وائس چانسلر، پرو وائس چانسلر، پبلک ریلیشنز آفیسر، فیکلٹی، انتظامیہ اور طلباء کے بھرپور شرکت اور تعاون پر ان  کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ تقریب کا اختتام انعامات اور اسناد کی تقسیم کے بعد ہوا۔
