Gwadar Police Arrest Three Drug Dealers in Anti-Narcotics Operations

Gwadar, February 17, 2025 – Acting on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gwadar, Zia Mandokhail, the Gwadar District Police have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking, leading to the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of significant quantities of narcotics.

First Operation in Jiwani

The first operation was carried out by City Police Station Jiwani. Officers apprehended a suspect identified as Jameel, son of Hassan, a resident of Shehzada Bazaar, Jiwani. Upon searching the suspect, police recovered 3,000 grams of hashish. A case (FIR No. 10/2025) was registered against him under CNSA 9(1)3C, and he was taken into custody for further investigation.

Second Operation in Gwadar

In a separate operation, Gwadar City Police, under the supervision of DSP Circle Gwadar, Malik Ahmed, arrested another suspect, Momin, son of Lal Bakhsh, a resident of Shambe Ismail Ward, Gwadar. The police confiscated narcotics from his possession, and a case (FIR No. 34/2025) was registered under CNSA 9(1)3B. Legal proceedings against him have been completed.

Third Operation in Jiwani

Another successful operation was conducted by Jiwani City Police, leading to the arrest of Junaid, son of Abbas, also a resident of Shehzada Bazaar, Jiwani. The suspect was found in possession of illegal substances. A case (FIR No. 11/2025) was filed against him under CNSA 9(1)3A.

Ongoing Investigation and Future Actions

All three suspects have been handed over to the Investigation Officer for further legal proceedings. The Gwadar District Police reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating drug-related activities and ensuring a safer community. The authorities have pledged to continue rigorous operations against drug trafficking networks in the region.

The police urge citizens to report any suspicious activities to help combat the menace of narcotics and maintain law and order in Gwadar.
