DG of BCS Academy Visits UoT, Discusses Institutional Development

Quetta, February 17, 2025 – Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Jamali, Director General of the Balochistan Civil Service (BCS) Academy, visited the University of Turbat (UoT) and held discussions with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan on strengthening academic and administrative collaboration.

 

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor outlined his vision for institutional growth, emphasizing UoT’s commitment to merit-based recruitment and effective governance to ensure academic excellence. He highlighted the university’s collaborative initiatives aimed at equipping Balochistan’s youth with essential skills to thrive in the digital age.

 

Dr. Jamali stressed the significance of partnerships in governance, education, and professional training to enhance the skills of university staff and students. He also emphasized the need for improved public service delivery across the region.

 

Both officials agreed to expand internship opportunities for students and introduce professional capacity-building programs for faculty and staff. They discussed organizing lecture series, joint research publications, and scholarly forums to address key contemporary issues.

 

This collaboration is expected to foster a stronger academic environment and create new opportunities for students and professionals in Balochistan.
