Balochistan Public Accounts Committee Meetings Committee Reviews Health Department Audit Reports

The Balochistan Public Accounts Committee (PAC) convened a meeting today at the Committee Room of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, chaired by Asghar Ali Tareen.

Special Audit and Financial Irregularities

The committee reviewed audit reports of the health department from fiscal years 2012-13 to 2015-16 and the special audit report on the National Program for Family Planning and Primary Healthcare (Lady Health Workers Program).

During the discussion, the committee noted that the health department failed to provide the required records, prompting strong disapproval from the chairman and members. In response, the chairman issued clear directives for the submission of all relevant records within 15 days, warning of strict action if the directive is not followed.

To ensure progress, the committee scheduled a follow-up meeting on March 11, 2025.
