
The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) of the Balochistan government has issued a notification regarding the transfer and appointment of several officials.
Quetta: The Government of Balochistan’s Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has issued a significant notification regarding the transfer and appointment of key officials across various departments. The reshuffle, which includes new appointments at both district and provincial levels, aims to enhance administrative efficiency and governance in the province.
According to the official notification, Syed Ejaz Haider (AEO/B-19) has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Gwadar Industrial Estate Development Authority (GIEDA), replacing Farid Ahmed (B-19). Mr Syed Ejaz Haider has been awaiting a posting order, while Farid Ahmed has been directed to report to the Lasbela Industrial Estate Development Authority (LIEDA). This appointment has been approved by the Chief Minister of Balochistan and is effective immediately.
In addition to the GIEDA leadership change, several Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have been reassigned across the province:
- Captain (Retd.) Jameel Ahmed Baloch (PAS/B-18) has been removed from the waiting list and appointed Deputy Commissioner Kalat.
- Flight Lieutenant (Retd.) Bilal Shabbir (PAS/B-18) has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Commissioner Kalat and directed to report to the S&GAD.
- Habib Nasir (BCS/B-18) has been transferred from Additional Secretary, Local Government & Development, and appointed Deputy Commissioner Surab.
- Captain (Retd.) Zulfiqar Ali Karar (PAS/B-18) has been relieved as Deputy Commissioner Surab and instructed to report to the S&GAD.
- Zohaib Ullah (BCS/B-18) has been removed from the establishment posting waiting list and appointed as Deputy Commissioner Mastung.
- Captain (Retd.) Mir Baz Khan (PAS/B-18) has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Commissioner Mastung and directed to report to the S&GAD.
The notification, signed by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, has been circulated to high-ranking government offices, including the Governor’s Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Chairman of the Balochistan Revenue Authority, Commissioner Quetta Division, and other relevant departments.
This major administrative reshuffle reflects the Balochistan government’s commitment to improving governance and strengthening public administration across the province.
