
Balochistan Food Authority’s Crackdown on Bakery Units in Gwadar
Gwadar: The Food Safety Team of the Balochistan Food Authority, led by Food Safety Officer Makran Mahtab Muhammad, along with Nisar Ahmed Gichki and Fareed Hashim, conducted a large-scale crackdown on bakery units in Gwadar city. The purpose of this operation was to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
During the operation, the team thoroughly inspected the ingredients used in food preparation, the cleanliness of workstations, and the personal hygiene standards of employees. Several bakery units were found to be in serious violation of hygiene regulations, resulting in heavy fines and the issuance of warning notices.
The Food Safety Team emphasized that negligence in food preparation and sales would not be tolerated. They instructed bakery owners to adhere to global hygiene standards to ensure the provision of safe and quality food to the citizens.
This operation by the Balochistan Food Authority has been widely appreciated by the public, while bakery owners have been directed to improve the quality of their products; otherwise, they will face strict legal action.
