Quetta: The Balochistan Anti-Corruption Department conducted a late-night raid at the Balochistan Board Office, uncovering a major corruption network involving the illegal transfer of examination centers.
According to sources, during the raid, Assistant Private Secretary (APS) of the Matric Examination Branch, Samiullah Kakar, was found involved in unauthorized changes to exam centers. Investigations revealed that large sums of money had been taken in exchange for these transfers.
The Anti-Corruption team recovered millions in cash from Samiullah Kakar and recorded his written statement on the spot. Relevant records were also seized for further investigation, while authorities continue their probe to identify other potential accomplices.
Officials stated that more arrests are expected in connection with this case. If additional board officials or officers are found to be involved in the scandal, strict action will be taken against them.
