
AC Pasni holds open court-to-address-public-grievances

Ormara – An open court was held in Ormara under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Pasni, Mahim Khan Gichki, where residents voiced concerns over essential services, including electricity, water, healthcare, and infrastructure.
The session occurred on Wednesday at the Municipal Committee Hall in Ormara, led by Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Hamudur Rahman Ranjha. Many public representatives, sports officials, fishermen, business owners, and residents from different rural areas attended, alongside officials from several departments, including the Pakistan Army.
Key Public Concerns Raised
During the session, citizens highlighted major issues affecting their daily lives, including:
✅ Water Crisis: The Public Health Engineering Department’s water supply was reported to be saline and hazardous, causing serious health problems. Residents demanded urgent cleaning and repair of the Sixty-Nine water tank and a supply of clean drinking water.
✅ Electricity Shortage: The 25 km main transmission line from Baduk to Pasni remains incomplete. Citizens urged authorities to resume work before summer.
✅ Healthcare Challenges: Rural health centers face medicine shortages and a lack of basic facilities.
✅ Drug Addiction Rehabilitation: Residents reported that 47 individuals in Ormara suffer from drug addiction and demanded the establishment of a dedicated drug rehabilitation center.
✅ Infrastructure & Road Conditions: Complaints were raised about the deterioration of city roads and the need for better sports facilities and vendor regulations.
✅ Marine Life Protection: Concerns were voiced regarding the preservation of aquatic ecosystems in the region.
Government’s Response & Commitments
Assistant Commissioner Mahim Khan Gachki attentively listened to public grievances and assured immediate action. He directed relevant department officials to address complaints promptly and ensure citizen satisfaction.
