●Deputy Commissioner Takes a Bold Step Against Encroachments
Gwadar: A major crackdown on illegal land occupation and encroachments has been launched in Gwadar! Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hamooda-ur-Rehman Ranjha has ordered the Tehsildar to take immediate action to protect all government-owned land in Guradani South, Tehsil Gwadar.
According to an official notification, a fresh land demarcation and resurvey operation will be conducted on February 21, 2025. This survey will be supervised by the Tehsildar Settlement Circle No. 2 Pasni and aims to eliminate all unauthorized claims and encroachments on state land.
The notification explicitly states that the entire 1130-acre government-owned land must be safeguarded at all costs. Additionally, a strict ban has been imposed on verifying non-governmental land records (Khatooni) until the official government records are fully corrected.
DC Hamood-ur-Rehman Ranjha has also ordered that all uninhabited coastal land be officially brought under government control during the resurvey. Strict legal action will be taken against any violations or illegal land occupations.
This move is being seen as a major setback for land mafias. Real estate experts and property tycoons believe that this is one of the most significant and decisive actions ever taken to protect state land in Gwadar.
Some of the biggest property investors in Gwadar are now questioning: Will this finally put an end to illegal land grabbing in Goranadani? Will this survey be enough to stop the illegal buying and selling of land in the region?
