Grand Inauguration of Gwadar Book Fair 2025, Attended by Scholars and Literary Figures
Gwadar: The four-day Gwadar Book Fair 2025 was inaugurated at the RCD Council Gwadar in a grand ceremony attended by prominent scholars, literary figures, and social personalities.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Hamood Ur Rehman, renowned scholar and writer Professor Dr. A.R. Dad, former MPA Mir Hammal Kalmati, former President of RCD Council Gwadar, Khuda Bakhsh Hashim, Muhammad Tahseen, Nafeesa Rasheed, and Nasir Raheem Sehrabi highlighted the importance of books. The speakers emphasized that the book fair would serve as a significant milestone in fostering a reading culture among the youth and promoting intellectual development.
During the event, renowned young folk singers Younus GR and Deedag Baloch performed alongside schoolchildren, captivating the audience with their artistic talent.
Later, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of the book stalls, featuring a wide range of books on various subjects, attracting keen interest from readers and visitors.
The Gwadar Book Fair will continue until Sunday, offering various sessions and intellectual activities throughout the event.
