I first met Chairman Pasand Khan Buledi at the Gwadar Port office in late November 2022. That day, I realized that he not only kept the door of his office open but also his heart.
At the time, he was in a meeting with a Chinese official from a Chinese company, yet when I entered, he welcomed me with warmth. While the official remained seated, the Chairman rose from his chair and sat beside me on the sofa, making me feel valued.
Our acquaintance was not new—before this appointment, he had served as Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar. I congratulated him on his new role as Chairman of Gwadar Port and said, “Sir, when you were the Deputy Commissioner, I published a calendar. Now that you are the Chairman, my book has been published.” I then presented him with an honorary copy of my book.
I still recall when he was Deputy Commissioner, he had once handed me ten rupees as a contribution toward the printing of that calendar.
Since that first meeting, every time I visited his office, it was for one reason: we both sought to contribute positively to society. Chairman Buledi is among the rare, kind-hearted officials who never confined me to a chair but always made me feel close to his heart.
He managed his office not just as a judge but with the precision of a world-class football referee, ensuring fairness and balance in every situation. His leadership continues to inspire those around him, making a lasting impact on Gwadar and beyond.
