BSO Leaders Hold Press Conference on BISE Balochistan Examination Results
Gwadar: A press conference was held at the Muhammad Ismail Baloch Conference Hall of Gwadar Press Club, where Baloch Students Organization (BSO) leader Abubakar Kulanchi, along with medical aspirants Zafar Hasil, Barkat Murad, and other student representatives, raised serious concerns over the recently announced results by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
During the conference, BSO leaders strongly criticized the flaws in the education system, stating that the persistent irregularities in BISE Balochistan’s operations are jeopardizing the student’s future and undermining the credibility of the education system in the province.
Allegations of Corruption and Lack of Transparency
The leaders revealed that their findings, based on repeated complaints from students and parents, exposed severe corruption within BISE Balochistan. They alleged that students are unfairly awarded higher marks through bribery and personal connections, raising serious concerns about the board’s transparency in result processing.
BSO leader Abubakar Kulanchi claimed that fake educational certificates are being issued with the involvement of board officials, distorting the merit system. He further highlighted cases where certain influential students allegedly manipulated their FSC results post-examination through illicit means.
Demand for Immediate Action
The BSO representatives strongly condemned these malpractices, declaring them a major threat to the education sector of Balochistan. They emphasized that such irregularities not only deprive deserving students of their rights but also tarnish the credibility of educational institutions.
“We stand with the affected students and will take all possible legal steps to ensure justice. The matter has already been taken up with the relevant authorities,” stated BSO leader Abubakar Kulanchi.
Concerns Over Admissions in Bolan Medical College
Additionally, BSO leaders alleged that fraudulent practices extend beyond BISE results, affecting admissions at Bolan Medical College (BMC). They claimed that some students have secured admissions through non-merit-based means, including bribery and political influence.
BSO called for strict action against all forms of corruption in the education sector and urged authorities to restore merit-based admissions and result evaluations. They also appealed to students, parents, and civil society to join their cause in ensuring a fair and transparent education system for future generations.
