UAE Visa Guidelines: Important Instructions for Applicants

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy has reissued updated visa guidelines for those seeking to apply. The process, requirements, and fees for obtaining a UAE visa have been clearly outlined.

Visa Processing Fee

The visa processing fee for all applicants is $69 per person, as confirmed by the UAE Embassy.

Application Process

  • Except for employment visas, applicants for visit, tourist, and family visas must apply online.
  • Once the visa application is submitted, the applicant will receive a notification from the embassy or visa center regarding further steps.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Applicants must follow the below-listed guidelines when applying for a UAE visa:

  1. Proof of Visa Application: Keep a copy of the visa application receipt for verification.
  2. Bank Statement: Provide a signed and stamped bank statement for the last six months from the applicant, parents, or sponsor.
  3. Minimum Bank Balance: The statement must show at least $5,000 or an equivalent amount.
  4. Accommodation Proof: Submit hotel reservations or documentation of residence if staying with friends or relatives.
  5. Return Ticket: A confirmed return air ticket is required.
  6. Original Identity Documents: Bring the original national ID card or passport to the visa center.
  7. Passport Validity: The passport must be valid for at least six months.
  8. Visa Fee Submission: The $69 visa processing fee must be deposited in the designated Al-Falah Bank account.
  9. Payment Receipt: The original payment receipt must be presented at the visa center.

Visa Application for Children

  • Children under 5 years old are not required to visit the visa center.
  • For children under 5 years, only a passport-size photograph with a white background is necessary.
  • No sunglasses are allowed in the photo, and the child must be seated properly.
  • Children aged 6 to 15 years do not need to bring a photograph, as it will be taken at the visa center.
  • Applicants aged 15 years and above must visit the visa center in person, and their visa process will be completed like adult applicants.

Final Visa Processing at the Visa Center

  • Applicants aged 5 years and above must visit the visa center after submitting all required documents.
  • The final biometric verification and visa processing will be completed at the visa center.
